A few blocks away from Main and Mill • Old Town Lewisville (where we will set up shop for Best Little Brewfest in Texas this June) on Whatley Avenue, you’ll fine Lewisville’s newest attraction – Cobra Brewing Company. In a cold-looking industrial building, you will find a warm family owned and operated brewery company. Bill Shaw and his wife Sharon head up the local craft brewery with their daughter Danielle and her husband as head brewer, Neil. When you go in for a tour or to visit the tap room, you’re sure to meet one or all of them. We like them a lot.
Brewery tours are every Saturday from noon to 5pm. You’ll find a food truck or some kind of tasty treat on the beautiful back patio (heaters included for when Texas decides to act up,) live music, corn hole and other games are available. Beer, bands, and food: what more could you ask for on a Saturday afternoon? It is a great place for a guys’ (or gals’) afternoon after golf (or shopping downtown,) or before getting in trouble for the night (we suggest you visit the Old Town Flying Pig as a stop post tour.) For tap room access and entertainment (& popcorn!) $10 will get you a complimentary Cobra Brewing Glass and three sampling tickets. Shirts are available for $20 at the front desk.
Check out their Friday Night Flicks schedule on their Facebook page, it’s invite only (attendees have to feel special, right!) so be sure to email them for a link to buy tickets. email@example.com
Check out all the beers they have in the works and available to delight your taste buds on their website, www.cobrabrewingco.com.
If you love this place (like we do!) Post a comment about which beer you like best! I’m a lover of Sumthin Strawberry and Golden Girl.
